As a first-time mom, every experience I have with our son Joaqui is memorable and choosing the ones to share for this week's Mommy Moments was quite hard because first and foremost, I'm a Cancerian and so I'm quite an emotional and sentimental person. ; ) And these are the mommy moments close to my heart.
The day he was born because even though I had an uneventful pregnancy, I had a hard time during the delivery. When I saw him for the first time, all the pain and hardships went away.
Every month during Joaqui's first year is memorable for us and we would always have a cake or cupcakes to celebrate it.
Up to now, every milestone achieved makes me proud and sometimes teary eyed. I feel so blessed to have been given the chance to take care of this wonderful gift.
The world is out there to be explored and to be discovered, so every family activity we do is a testimony of how my child will see the world ahead of him and even though sometimes it means letting him go little by little, as a mommy I just want to be there for him always.

Hi Mommy Jeng! I'm so touched on how you told your story...
" all the pain and hardships went away." So true!!!
My youngest sister was born under the sign of Cancer and yes, very emotional nga ang bunso namin. :)
Happy weekend too!
They really do grow up fast. Very sweet.
Hi mommyjeng, you story is so touching. Its really precious and overwhelming feeling to see your son for the first time. After all the hard labor of delivery and 9 months unpleasant feeling of pregnancy are totally fade off when you first saw him. You have such cute handsome baby.
agree ! every moment is so precious, truly priceless! :)
you are blessed jeng! thanks for sharing your thoughts with us this week!
He is so adorable and always try to cherish those precious moments.
it is sitll a mystery for us,mommy like after the seems like an endless pain of giving birth,as if it's the end of the world like we're rather choose to die than to bear the pain, once we saw our baby, it's gone in an instant, and all we can think of is to be the best mommy as can be! amazing!!even the pain that the pain reliever can get rid of, our baby's face do the magic and tell us,we can endure everything.
