Even at a young age, Joaqui already has a set of friends because I think he really likes other children. Although he does not warm up to them immediately, he is happy when he is around other kids. This picture was taken with the other n@wie (newlyweds at work yahoo group) kids whom Joaqui met and played with a couple of times when we used to go out with our husbands and kids in tow. From left to right, these are Simone, Joaquin and Andie with Joaqui. They are so cute in this photo because all of them are of the same age group.
Joaqui also has an afternoon walking buddy, Chelsea (the girl on the left) because they would often go on walks around the subdivision in the afternoons together with their respective nannies. Sometimes Chelsea would visit Joaqui and they would play here in our house. Joaqui had a mini pool party just this last summer with Chelsea and her brother Kyle.

It's good to know that he doesn't need warming up before he gets friendly with other kids! :)
Also, having walking buddies in the afternoon is such a relief for the nannies. My kids' playmate also come to our house to play with them and I welcome them so my kids will know at an early age how to accept guests at home. :)

joaqui is lucky to have kid neighbors! and it's a good idea talaga mommy to have our children interact with other children. it helps them develop their social skills.
