A lot of the 80s love songs stand out for me because they are a reminiscent of my childhood, young love and puppy love. ; ) Although some were hopelessly cheesy, it was also a period of raw energy. The 80s songs also exemplify a musical style which is fresh and bold that is why still a lot of people are drawn to the music of this era. Ah the 80s. I am embarrassed to say, I was a big Air Supply fan then....I can still sing just about all of their songs.
Some of these are favorites. My very first slow dance was to "Hello".
One missing--Total Eclipse of the Heart.

I'm not afraid to admit that #13 is one of my personal anthems. And Sailing...enter the cheese...still kind of gives me goosebumps.

I graduated from high school in 81. Many of these songs brought back many memories. Great list!
