tormenting myself

It will be our 3rd wedding anniversary next week and I'm still torn whether we would do something really special, like go out of town and spend a night in a really romantic place, or we will just have a not-so-expensive romantic dinner instead. Our wedding anniversary is two days before Valentine's Day and so we expect that prices of flowers, food, accommodations, etc. will skyrock to take advantage of this commercialism of Valentine's Day. I do not want to spend so much this time because of the financial crisis going on globally and I would rather save the money for "the rainy days."

Argh. But I am already convincing myself to have a simple dinner instead and besides, we have so much to be thankful for besides tormenting myself and worrying about how we would celebrate it.
